Truffle Hunt Tours with Truffles of Tasmania
Come along & immerse yourself amongst our oak trees and forage for truffles with us. This incredibly special experience takes you right into the heart of our farm and lends you the privilege of interacting with our Truffle Dogs and experienced Truffle hunters, while you're taken on a unique journey. During this experience, you have the opportunity to harvest your own truffle which will not be available for purchase however you may like to select fresh truffles from our farm shop. Please note take home truffles are at an additional cost.
Truffle hunt package includes the following:
Duration: 2 hours
Truffle hunt and opportunity to harvest and unearth a truffle. Seasonality within the environment can affect volume & quantity- However we do our best to give each individual person the opportunity to forage for a truffle.
Taste testing of our truffle products, fresh truffle and some local Tasmanian items in our farm shop.

Truffle Hunt Details
Location: 110 Trickett Road, Needles Tas 7304
(8 Kms from the township of Deloraine off the Dairy plains road, 45 Minutes from Launceston, 45 minutes from Devonport, 50 minutes from Central Lakes, 1.5 hours from Cradle mountain, and 3.5 hours from Hobart)
Accessible by road or helicopter.
Accessibility: The truffiere is not accessible by wheelchair due to natural terrain and weather conditions. (However please contact us direct as we could offer a solution)
What to wear: We would recommend wearing enclosed footwear and clothing suitable for the outdoors. Truffle hunts are an all weather event, so weatherproof clothing and footwear that can handle water & muddy conditions are advised.
Children under 10: Are there any children under 10 in your group? (no payment is required for children under 10 but must be mentioned during bookings in comments).
