Truffle Butter
Truffle Butter is fantastic on pasta or in popcorn and it works wonders on a rare steak!
Ingredients
250g butter, softened
Pinch of salt
20-40g black truffle
Cling wrap
Method
In a mixing bowl, add the softened butter and microplane or thinly shave/slice the desired amount of truffle.
Using clean hands, squeeze the butter and the truffle together.
Season with salt to taste.
Spoon the butter onto a large piece of cling wrap and form into a log that is around 3cm thick,
Wrap the log tightly and place it in the refrigerator until you are ready to use it. The log can also be frozen in an airtight container.
